Hey everyone! Planning to spend a few months in Thailand next year, specifically looking at Koh Phangan. Tired of the hotel/hostel hopping and want something more permanent and comfortable. Hey! Koh Phangan is perfect for what you're describing — it's transformed a lot in recent years from just a Full Moon Party destination to a real wellness hub. There are definitely apartment options beyond the typical beach bungalows. For the peaceful vibe you want, look at areas like Srithanu, Haad Salad, or Chaloklum — away from Haad Rin party zone. Some newer developments offer modern apartments with pools, coworking spaces, and yoga shalas on site. Modern design, pool, community vibe that attracts digital nomads and yoga people. For a few months stay you might get a good monthly rate. The island has really developed its infrastructure — good WiFi, healthy food options, lots of yoga studios and wellness centers. Much better for long stays than it used to be.
