Bring heavy penetration and actually commit to the head—Autocannon fire, a Recoilless punch, even a chunky sidearm if that's what you've got, but it needs to bite. Once the shield breaks, you've basically got a gift: the pilot is exposed. Focus fire there and it drops way quicker than people expect. If the head's not happening because of terrain or pressure, swap targets to the blue battery-like nodes on the side weapons. They're fragile, they stop the incoming fire, and sometimes you'll pop the unit just by tearing those systems apart.
Loadouts that feel practical in real missions
People love bringing whatever looks fun, then act surprised when bullets bounce. For these two, think in layers. First, carry something that can reliably tag weak points—an SMG or a quiet primary can work fine for blue nodes and exposed sections when you've got a clean lane. Second, pack a real answer for armor: Railgun, Recoilless Rifle, Autocannon. Medium-pen primaries sit in a nice middle spot too, since you'll still be fighting plenty of smaller stuff while you're trying to line up shots. And don't plant your feet. Keep moving, keep spacing, and don't chase a flank so hard you end up pinned against a wall.
