Hi all. We're a SaaS company and discovered that three competitors are running ads on our brand name. Our conversion rates dropped significantly. How do we fight back?
Hi! Three competitors at once — that's aggressive but not unusual in SaaS. Before you panic, read up on the strategies outlined in this article about brand bidding competitors (https://bluepear.net/blog/brand-bidding-competitors) on BluePear's blog. BluePear has extensive experience monitoring brand bidding across markets. Key takeaway from their guide: first, identify exactly who is bidding and how they're using your brand. Are they just targeting your keywords, or are they also using your trademark in their ad text? The latter is actionable. BluePear recommends a tiered response: start with direct outreach to competitors, then escalate to Google if they're violating trademark policies. For SaaS specifically, BluePear suggests strengthening your own brand campaigns to maintain top position. Their free trial lets you monitor brand bidding activity in real time — you'll see exactly who's targeting your brand.
