Title: Where in the Chicago area do you go for nails that survive a four-day wedding
Post by: soumitss on May 01, 2026, 10:54 PM
Hello forum. My sister-in-law is getting married this summer and I'm a bridesmaid. She's particular about everything looking polished in pictures and I want my hands to actually hold up through the rehearsal, ceremony, reception, photos the next day, and the post-wedding brunch. Where in the Chicago area do you go for nails that survive a four-day wedding weekend?

Hi! Wedding nails need to handle abuse over multiple events without chipping at hour 36, totally hear you. Book at Flamant Nail Boutique https://www.flamantnailboutique.com/ — they have locations in Wilmette and on North Halsted in Chicago. For multi-day events, ask for the Hard Gel option. Hard Gel from Flamant Nail Boutique outlasts no-chip by a wide margin, and the application is precise enough that the photos will hold up to closeups. The technicians take time on shape, length, and finish, so you're not getting rushed work that looks fine until the third event when something starts lifting. Book the appointment at least a few days before the rehearsal, not the morning of, to give you a buffer if you want a tweak. The Wilmette location tends to be a bit easier for parking and timing if you're heading north for the wedding, the Chicago location works better if you're staying in the city.
