For someone like me who doesn't know much about cars but wants to feel confident that I'm not being ripped off, that kind of transparency means everything. Showing you the worn bearing with actual wheel play on the lift instead of just handing a bill is such a basic courtesy. Wish more shops operated this way.
A mechanic who doesn't upsell unnecessary work is genuinely rare. Once you find that kind of shop just stick with them forever.
Transparency builds more loyal customers than any marketing ever could. That shop probably runs mostly on word of mouth and honestly deserves to.
Grand Cherokee wheel bearings are not a cheap job. Feeling confident you got exactly what was needed at a fair price is worth just as much as the repair itself.
