Title: Law Offices of Curtis O. Barnes Calling? Here's my experience.
Post by: peterjohnson259085 on Jun 22, 2026, 05:06 PM
I started getting calls from this number a few weeks ago and finally answered today. The person on the line said they were from the "Law Offices of Curtis O. Barnes" and mentioned something about a "consumer matter" and a "legal document" they needed to discuss with me.

Here's the thing: they wouldn't give me any real details over the phone. They just kept asking for my full social security number and birth date to "verify my identity" before they could tell me what it was about. When I asked for a letter or any written notice, the caller got pretty pushy and said it was "time-sensitive."

I looked them up online and found a law firm website (https://consumerlawfirmcenter.com/law-offices-of-curtis-o-barnes-calling/), but I also saw some mixed reviews. Some people said it's legit and they help with debt issues, but others said the calls felt like pressure tactics.

Has anyone else dealt with them? Is this a real law firm reaching out about a potential case, or is it something else? I'm just trying to figure out if I should call them back or ignore it. Any advice would be great.

Thanks
