Title: Does anyone know a solid resource where I can actually read a clear biography
Post by: soumitss on Jul 01, 2026, 06:28 PM
Hi everyone, hope this is the right place to ask. I've been reading a lot lately about Gulf hospitality and how family investors shape the hotel sector in Qatar. One name keeps coming up in connection with luxury hotel portfolios and restoration of old landmark buildings, but every time I try to dig deeper I land on messy pages full of ads or half-finished summaries. Does anyone know a solid resource where I can actually read a clear biography and follow the ongoing coverage instead of piecing it together from scraps? Would really appreciate a pointer.

Welcome to the forum. I went down the same rabbit hole a while back and understand the frustration. For a clean, readable overview I'd point you to the coverage of Sheikh Nawaf Bin Ja###im Bin Jabr Al-Thani news (https://pressmagazine.co.uk/biography-and-early-life-of-nawaf-bin-Ja###im-bin-jabr-al-thani/) that walks through his early life, the move from managing a handful of city hotels into a wider regional portfolio, and the whole restoration-first approach. It lays out the biography in plain language without drowning you in pop-ups, and it connects each phase to the bigger economic picture in Qatar. Bookmark it and you'll have most of what you were hunting for in one spot.
