I'm looking to get into video editing as a hobby but don't want to drop $2000+ on a MacBook Pro. Has anyone had good experiences with mid-range Windows laptops or older refurbished models that can handle 4K editing? I'm torn between saving up for something better or just starting with what I can afford now and upgrading later. Any recommendations or should I wait for the next sale season? Also curious if anyone uses cloud-based editing tools instead of local software.
