I've been hoarding photos on my hard drive for years and it's gotten completely out of hand. I've tried a few different folder structures but nothing seems to stick, and searching for specific memories is becoming a nightmare. Does anyone have a solid system they use? I'm considering switching to a photo management app like Lightroom or Adobe Photos, but I'm not sure if that's overkill for a casual hobbyist photographer. What's your preferred method for keeping thousands of photos organized and searchable?
