I just got one of those new WiFi-enabled coffee makers that you can control from your phone, and I'm honestly questioning my life choices. The thing literally sends me notifications about water levels, brewing status, and optimal coffee bean freshness, while I'm over here forgetting where I put my keys five times a day. Are we at the point where our appliances are judging us? I'm convinced my coffee maker is silently disappointed every time I accidentally brew it at 3 AM on a Tuesday. Does anyone else feel like their smart home devices are becoming tiny robotic life coaches?
