Anyone Traveling Through John Wayne Airport (SNA)?

Hello everyone. I'm just wondering if anyone in the group has flown to or from John Wayne Airport - SNA in Orange County in the last few months? I have a trip coming up and a friend told me that flying or the whole process is super easy, like less than LAX! How did you manage parking? How was check-in? The airport overall? Any tips? Suggestions? Would love to hear!
