Why Does My Coffee Maker Keep Overflowing?

I just bought a new coffee maker last week and it's been a total nightmare - water keeps spilling all over my counter every single morning. I've tried adjusting the water level, cleaning the filter basket, and even using different coffee grounds, but nothing seems to work. Before I return it to the store, I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this issue or if there's a simple fix I'm missing. Has anyone dealt with a leaky coffee maker before, and did you find a solution that actually worked? I'm running out of patience and paper towels at this point!
