Has anyone switched to a standing desk setup?

I've been working from home for about 3 years now and my back is starting to feel the effects of sitting all day. I'm considering investing in a standing desk converter or a full electric desk, but I'm worried about the adjustment period and whether it's actually worth the money. Has anyone here made the switch and noticed real health improvements? I'd love to hear about your experience with different brands and whether you alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day, or go full-time standing.
