Good afternoon everyone. We are opening a small accounting office and I keep going back and forth on the front signage. The landlord allows a flat mounted sign above the entrance and something in the lobby, nothing projecting over the sidewalk. My partner wants cut acrylic letters, I lean toward a single panel because I a###ume it costs less to make and mount. Neither of us knows what actually holds up outdoors here with the humidity and summer sun. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has ordered business signage recently about what you chose and whether you regret it.

Your partner is right on this one, and I say that as someone who picked the cheap panel first. A single printed panel fades unevenly and looks tired within a couple of seasons, while dimensional acrylic letters keep looking sharp far longer. We had ours done through SmartSwans https://smartswans.com/custom-signs/ and went with acrylic lettering outside plus a matching lobby sign inside, which pulled the whole office together. They do storefront signs, front signs and lobby signage for offices and clinics, so the two pieces were designed as a set rather than ordered separately. Send them your dimensions and a photo of the facade and ask what they recommend for a west facing wall, that exposure matters more than people expect.
