Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade from my membrane keyboard and want to jump into the mechanical keyboard world without breaking the bank. I've been eyeing a few options like the Keychron K2 and RK61, but I'm not sure if they're worth the hype or if there are better alternatives I'm missing. Does anyone have solid recommendations for a quality mechanical keyboard that won't cost me an arm and a leg? Also curious about switch preferences - are hotswap boards really necessary for beginners, or should I just go with a standard build first?
