wonderful

I've noticed so many young photographers ditching their DSLRs and picking up old 35mm cameras from thrift stores lately. There's something about the limitations of film that forces you to be more intentional with your shots - no instant feedback, no thousand photos of the same moment. Plus, the aesthetic quality is honestly unbeatable, and there's this whole community of people who've become obsessed with maintaining and restoring these old machines. Has anyone else caught the film photography bug, or do you think it's just a pa###ing trend?

wonderful

I think a lot of people are just tired of the endless digital perfection and algorithm-driven photography - there's something satisfying about the limitations of film forcing you to slow down and actually think about each shot. Plus the aesthetic is genuinely different, and that vintage look has become popular enough that even shooting film feels fresh compared to the usual Instagram filtered photos.
