So I was helping my neighbor troubleshoot their internet connection yesterday, and I discovered their router tucked away in a metal filing cabinet in the basement. It took me twenty minutes not to laugh while explaining why their signal was basically nonexistent. This got me thinking—what are the absolute worst places people put their routers? I've heard stories about routers hidden in closets, behind curtains, and even one memorable instance of someone wrapping theirs in plastic wrap "to keep it clean."
