Best Practices for Growing Tomatoes Indoors?

I've been trying to grow tomatoes inside my apartment for the past few months with mixed results. The plants seem to grow fine initially, but then they get leggy and don't produce much fruit. I'm using a basic LED grow light setup and keeping them on a 14-hour light cycle. Has anyone here successfully grown tomatoes indoors?
