Is anyone else tired of pa###word managers failing?

I've been using pa###word managers for years, but lately I've had some scary moments where they just... don't work when I need them most. Last week my manager didn't autofill on my banking site and I had to reset everything. Has anyone found a genuinely reliable alternative that isn't just another subscription trap?
