Lads, so I've literally been talking about Turkey since first year and it's actually happening this summer. Flights are booked, hostel sorted, now figuring out the transport situation. Back here in the UK even a basic rental wipes out half your budget but I've heard rent a car Turkey wise is way more student friendly. Is that actually true or does it look cheap until they start adding stuff on?

Genuinely affordable compared to anything in Western Europe. Booked mine about three weeks out last time and the price was still pretty reasonable. Just read what's included before you confirm, some operators are cleaner about it than others.

I had the same experience with Turkey, I'd been dreaming about it for ages, and then I just took the plunge. Rent a car in Turkey is one of those things that really lives up to expectations in terms of value for money, especially if you're not set on a specific model and book in advance. The coastal roads between the resorts are truly stunning, and no bus timetable will allow you to stop wherever you fancy. There are cheaper options if you know where to look, rather than just choosing the first thing that appears on a price comparison site. I think you should check out the offers on this website https://turkey-rentcar.ru/en/
