When I read world news online, I sometimes feel that advertisements make the experience more stressful. News stories can already contain serious or worrying information about wars, politics, natural disasters, or economic problems. At the same time, websites often show many advertisements, pop-ups, banners, and videos, which can make it difficult to concentrate on the article.

I understand that advertising helps many news websites pay for journalists and keep their content available to readers. However, too many ads can be distracting and sometimes make the news experience feel overwhelming. Auto-playing videos or advertisements that interrupt an article can be especially annoying.

What do you think? Do advertisements make reading world news online more stressful for you, or do you usually ignore them? Would you prefer news websites to have fewer ads, even if that meant paying for a subscription?

With so much happening in the world already, it feels exhausting to fight through a noisy page just to get the information you came for. Maybe reading the news should feel less like navigating an obstacle course and more like... simply reading the news.

You open an article to understand what's happening, and suddenly there are pop-ups, autoplay videos, banners, flashing recommendations, and ads squeezed between every few paragraphs. Your attention keeps getting pulled in different directions when all you wanted was to read and think. This is of course annoying. Therefore, I tracked down the replacement of the uBlock Origin ad blocker with AdLock for Android and iOS.

I think ads definitely add to the stress factor, especially when they pop up unexpectedly while you're trying to read about serious global issues. The constant interruptions and flashing banners make it harder to focus on the actual news content and can feel pretty overwhelming. 정보이용료 현금화
