Got a frustrating situation. My IP ended up on the StopForumSpam blacklist and now a bunch of sites are just flat out refusing to let me in. No idea how it happened, never spammed anything in my life, but here we are. Some of these platforms I genuinely need access to for work stuff so sitting around waiting for the IP to get cleared isn't really an option. What's the best way to get around this without making things more complicated than they need to be?

First thing worth trying is contacting your ISP and requesting a new IP address, sometimes they can a###ign a fresh one without much ha###le and that solves the problem immediately. Another angle is submitting a removal request directly through StopForumSpam, they do have a delisting process and if your IP got flagged by mistake it can get cleared faster than you'd expect. Dynamic IP addresses reset on their own when you restart the router depending on your provider, so that's worth checking before doing anything else.

Getting through the block without waiting on anyone is pretty simple with the right tool. A proxy replaces your flagged IP with a clean one so the sites you need never even see your real address. There's a free web proxy site online here: https://gologin.com/free-web-proxy/ . Paste in the URL you need and the browser handles the rest, your real IP stays out of the picture completely.
