Turning My Kid’s Imagination Into a Book , Feeling a Bit Lost.

My daughter told me the wildest, most creative story today, and it got me thinking what if we turned it into a children's eBook? I'd love to make it something she can read forever, but writing and formatting it is outside my skill set. Has anyone here tried to hire a children ebook writer before? Would love any insight on where to start or what to expect.
